Our client, MASI, is a Finnish-owned textile company with four well-known brands (VeryNice, LeeCooper, Sail&Ski, Fredrikson), produced in a textile factory in Valga, Estonia. The centerpiece of the company is denim production. MASI has a long and successful history of developing the best fits, using top materials and the newest technologies, for their customers. MASI also has the only denim washing laundry in Northern Europe.
Your main tasks
research, develop, and test new finishing washes for jeans
explore new technologies, chemicals, and materials for finishing
communicate regularly with designers and buyers about new finishes and materials
systematically document all information related to finishing washes
ensure smooth transition of new recipes from R&D to production
Ideal candidate qualifications
education in Chemistry or Material Technology (recent graduates or last-year students are welcome)
clear understanding of how different chemicals react when mixed
excellent communication skills and proficiency in English (both verbal and written)
willingness to travel occasionally abroad for material exhibitions and to Valga, approximately once every 1-2 months

Location
Our factory is located in Valga, Estonia. While living in Valga is not required, you'll find it a great place to work and innovate. Possibility to work in Tartu with regular visits to Valga.
